Angel and Crystal World is owned and operated by Annette and Henry Burns.

Annette and Henry moved to Sligo from England in 1998 and bought Sligo Crystal which was located in a two storey property.

Although they enjoyed running the business together for the first few years, they felt very drawn to the idea of having a more spiritual type of shop where people could not only call in and buy someone a special gift or something for a loved ones graveside but where they could also share their sadness or worries if they so wished.

So in October 2003 they opened Angel World upstairs at Sligo Crystal.

The response has been amazing and so rewarding. As Annette and Henry have said: “The need for such a shop was far greater than we could have ever imagined”. So much so that they have decided to have both floors stocking more holistic types of merchandise and in the process have renamed the business as Angel and Crystal World.

The atmosphere is one of calm with the emphasis on creating a place of peace and harmony where people can stroll around and feel the stress melting away.

Annette and Henry’s wish is that they can touch the lives of all the people they meet in a positive way.
